Cysters is a Birmingham-based charity working to challenge stigma and systemic inequality in menstrual, maternal, and mental health, centring lived experience and community-led advocacy.
We supported Cysters by bringing structure, strategy, and creativity to their social media and communications. This included developing fresh content, shaping ideas collaboratively with the founder, and identifying content opportunities to grow their visibility and reach.
Beyond content, we built targeted outreach lists of podcasters, press contacts, and media outlets aligned with Cysters' work, laying a stronger foundation for long-term visibility and partnerships.
Our goal throughout was to take the weight of communications off the founders shoulders, freeing up mental space so the founder could focus on what matters most: community impact.

“Amari has been such a powerful support for us at Cysters. They stepped in and immediately brought clarity and order to areas that had felt chaotic for far too long. Their approach to social media has been brilliant creating fresh posts, shaping ideas with me and spotting content opportunities I wouldn’t have had the time to develop or even think about. They also helped us streamline the whole process, putting simple systems in place so planning, creating and posting feels far more efficient and sustainable.
What really made a difference was their initiative. They didn’t just wait to be told what to do. They pulled together targeted contact lists for valuable podcasters, press leads and media outlets who align with our work, giving us a stronger foundation for outreach and long-term visibility. They took what was a very culture-heavy, informal way of working and shaped it into something structured without losing the heart of our mission.
Their support has freed up so much mental space, allowing me to focus on community impact. I’d recommend Amari to any charity or small organisation wanting someone who understands your values and brings systems, creativity and genuine care to the table”

WOMBfest Wales is a Cardiff-based community interest company on a mission to make women's health impossible to ignore - putting menstruation, birth, and menopause front and centre through events that feel as warm and welcoming as a conversation with a trusted friend.
We stepped in as their social media and communications partner, promoting WOMBfest.
The real win? Lifting the communications load entirely from the team's plate. With us handling the noise, the founder could pour energy back into what WOMBfest Wales does best: creating spaces where every woman and birthing person feels truly seen, deeply supported, and worth celebrating.

"Dani was enthusiastic and took the look and feel of the posts in a really fun, engaging direction that certainly got us a lot of new followers. The vendors and speaker posts were very popular, and we had a lot of compliments on how great it was all looking. Her work really got people excited for the event, which was the whole point. She is excellent with setting expectations, very organised and communicative. I can't recommend Dani enough.""
"Amari took the time to really understand what our project was about. She was highly professional, thorough and clear in her communication. It's clear Amari is passionate and knowledgeable about her work.
For me and my business, she is the go-to VA and content creator in the world of sex, relationships and reproductive wellbeing. I sincerely hope we get to work together again soon."

Amari has been a joy to work with. She takes complete responsibility for Abortion Talk's social media activity and has done a great job of increasing our engagement within a few months. I particularly appreciate how she keeps me updated on what's she's working on and invites feedback. She's always willing to be flexible and take on board feedback to refine our output and capture the nuances of our organisation. This isn't easy for a freelancer to do but she nails it!
